The Mac Gaming Alliance had it's humble beginnings in
the summer of 1996 founded by Tim Schmitz. I (Jonathan Dreyer) didn't
join until the spring of 1997 as a reviewer. It wasn't until I took
over the news duties in August 97 that the MGA really got going. When
Tim Schmitz left the MGA, I took over in order to not see my work
disappear.
Since it's founding, the MGA has stumbled and come
close to folding on more than one occasion. Yet the MGA is still
here, something of a foot note in the world of Mac Games.
