Galapagos is released
After a lengthy development process, Anark has released
Galapagos, a game that offers some of the most advanced artifical
intelligence ever seen in a game. Electronic Arts is distributing the
game so we'll have to monitor it to see if it, being a hybrid CD-ROM,
is reaching Mac gamers. You might want to check the PC game shelves
for it (and then move some of them to the Mac section!). Want more on
Galapagos? Check
out the web page.

Early news reports that GT Interactive has bought
competitor Microprose. This purchase makes GT Interactive the second
largest USA based game publisher after Electronic Arts. This could be
good news for Mac gamers as MacSoft is owned by GT Interactive and
could me more of Microproses games being released by MacSoft.
