Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer coming to your Mac
Everyone's favorite holiday character, Rudolph® the Red-Nosed Reindeer, will make his computer debut this holiday season when WizardWorks, ships Rudolph® the Red-Nosed Reindeer's Magical Sleigh Ride for PC/Macintosh.

The CD-ROM is based on the all-new musical masterpiece, Rudolph® the Red-Nosed Reindeer: The Movie from GoodTimes Entertainment. Developed by ETI Entertainment Technologies Inc., Rudolph® the Red-Nosed Reindeer's Magical Sleigh Ride brings children into Santa's magical world with activities including Santa's Workshop, The Sleigh Ride and Santa's Print Shop.

"Rudolph® the Red-Nosed Reindeer's Magical Sleigh Ride gives children the opportunity to interact with one of their favorite holiday characters in an exciting new medium - their personal computer," said Paul Rinde, senior vice president of Product Acquisition and Development for WizardWorks. "Through three distinct activities, children become part of Rudolph's® magical world."

Rudolph® the Red-Nosed Reindeer is also partnering with Wendy's Restaurant fast-food chain to promote the title. Millions of premiums featuring the Rudolph® characters and a $3 mail-in rebate offer from WizardWorks for the CD-ROM will be included in Wendy's kids' meals this holiday season.

"We're excited to be teaming up with Wendy's to promote this title through the rebate coupons," said Tracy Magnuson, vice president of Marketing for WizardWorks. "Premiums are a very popular item with consumers, especially with such a well-known character as Rudolph®.

Rudolph® the Red-Nosed Reindeer's Magical Sleigh Ride includes three charming activities, filled with characters from the movie that will entertain children as they color, paint and help Santa and his elves deliver gifts, and even create their own post cards for Santa. The activities include:

• Santa's Workshop: Santa needs your help! The elves in the little magical toy shop can't keep up with the toy demand and you must help gather all the toys for Santa to deliver.
• The Sleigh Ride: With Rudolph® as your sleigh guide, travel the world, locating all the boys and girls who haven't received their gifts. Children will learn about other places and make friends on this incredible journey.
• Santa's Print Shop: Use Santa's Print Shop to create your very own post cards and pictures for Santa. Complete with pictures of Rudolph®, your favorite toys and the friends you've made during your adventures with Rudolph®.

Rudolph® the Red-Nosed Reindeer's Magical Sleigh Ride for PC/Mac is attractively priced at $19.99 and will be available at retail outlets nationwide in November.

Westlake on Unreal Patch
From Westlake Interactive:
Now that the new 219 PC patch has just been released, we are planning on skipping directly from the 217 code we are working with to 219 (bypassing 218). We have 217 up and running (with a few glitches) on the Mac, so we need to fix those few problems and then start merging the 219 code.

We have no timetable for release of Mac 219 yet, so please don't ask when it will be out. We're working as hard as we can, and when it is ready, it will be released here.
