Killing Time 1.2
Logicware has released a Killing Time Update. The new version of Killing Time is v1.2. The update affects the retail version and the demo version of the game. The updated application files are available from:

• This update fixes graphic glitches.
• Movies will play in thousands of colors mode if present.
• The automap can scale to a much tinier size to see more of the map
• The automap is now color coded.
• The game has a 10-20% speed increase.
• iMac friendly.
• The demo will no longer crash when trying to go to forbidden areas.
• Music and Movies can be placed on your hard drive and the CD in a mix and match fashion, you do not have to copy ALL of the music and/or music files for some performance increases.

This version is compatible with version 1.1.1 save games. It will not work with version 1.0.2 save games.

Price sheets have been changed to reflect our new low price of $19.95 for Killing Time retail version.

Unreal 219b1 Released

The next Unreal Mac public beta patch (1.0.2b1, with the full 219 PC code) is here. This is a pre-release patch, and hasn't been fully tested, so make sure to read the enclosed Read Me file for notes and information. Back up your original Unreal application and Unreal "system" folder before updating! If the new version doesn't work right, you'll want to go back to the old ones.

Blizzard Action Figures
IRVINE, Calif., Nov. 23, 1998 - Building on the success of two of the hottest selling computer game franchises in the software industry, Blizzard Entertainment shipped Warcraft and StarCraft action figures over the weekend. The move represents Blizzard's first entry into the $1 billion action figure industry.

The figures include popular characters from each game including StarCraft's Protoss Zealot, Terran Marine and Zerg Hydralisk, as well as Warcraft's Orc Grunt and Human Footman. These collector-quality figures will stand about 7 inches tall and include multiple articulations.

Blizzard's initial run of action figures totaled 300,000, which were all snatched up by eager retailer pre-orders. The figures are available at software stores nationwide immediately for between $10 - $12.

Additionally, the company announced a limited-time holiday promotion, in which with the purchase of selected Blizzard games, customer receives a free exclusive edition of the Terran Marine action figure. The game's popular WarPig character will be offered through Jan. 31, 1999 or while supplies last.
