Deadlock Unsupported Beta Patch Out
Deadlock 1.1b3 is an UNSUPPORTED Beta patch for Deadlock.
It fixes a few crashing problems, particularly ones related to
launching missiles and playing on very large maps.
Westlake
Interactive recommended that you download this patch ONLY if
you've experienced problems with the original game.
VERY IMPORTANT! All previous save games will no longer work with version 1.1b3 of Deadlock. If you wish to complete a saved game from Deadlock 1.0, make a copy of the "Deadlock 1.0" application and save it off. Restore it at a later time when you wish to finish your saved game. Also, keep in mind that save game files created by Deadlock 1.1b3 are not backwards compatible with Deadlock 1.0.
Note that there will be no further updates of the Deadlock software. Deadlock was developed by Lion Entertainment; this patch is only being provided by Westlake "as is". Please do not send any bug reports to Westlake or to MacSoft.

Air Warrior MAC on GameStorm
You may remeber that the beta-testing of Air Warrior Mac was done
on the internet, but when the beta ended Air Warrior went to AOL.
Well now GameStorm
is bringing Air Warrior Mac back to the internet masses. Air Warrior
is an online flight sim similar to WarBirds. Although
GameStorm's
Mac Air Warrior page has been saying coming soon for ages, it
looks like it may be ready very very soon. i did some looking through
GameStorm's ftp server and found the
Mac
version of Air Warrior to download (9.2 mb), although you can't
fly online yet, you can practice solo flying. We will announce when
Air Warrior is ready to play online!
Exobattle by Matt Burch
Matt Burch,
creator of Escape Velocity, has started development on a new 3D
action game Exobattle. The game itself will be free, along with it's
source code to support future Mac Gaming shareware authors.
I'd like to invite everyone to check out the website for a project I'm working on in my spare time, called Exobattle:
http://falcon.cc.ukans.edu/~mburch/exobattle/
In a nutshell, I'm writing a cool multiplayer 3D space sim, and when it's finished enough I plan on releasing all the source code for it for free. This is my way of trying to increase the number of cool Mac games out there, by letting people with a good knowledge of C++ get a head start on game development.
