I found some new underwear today:
“A Christmas Story” boxer shorts
I went to Target in Bellingham today for no particular reason and ended up coming home with those lovely undergarments. Target actually has the coolest holiday merchandise of any store I’ve shopped at this season. Previously I had been there and almost bought a Ralphie t-shirt.
And since this year I have a miniature Christmas tree adorning my kitchen table I also bought these:
“Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” Ornaments
When I bought my tree I also picked up a pack of generic ornaments, but I didn’t realize you must purchase hooks seperately. What’s with that? Anyway, these are way cooler. Actually they are bells, not strictly ornaments. But they hang on my tree so I don’t think there will be much ringing happening.

Now that’s not the best picture of my tree. I still have more ornaments to hang, and it also needs some garland. I guess I also need something for the top of it still too.
My shopping for gifts is mostly complete thankfully. I just need to find a couple more appropriate gifts for certain people and I’ll really be done.
I love the Christmas village! I once went to the home of a Christmas faiatnc who had a whole bedroom devoted to a giant Christmas forest, complete with sparkly snow on the ground and a forest of ceiling high trees. In another room she had an enormous miniature village. I’ll never forget it. Enjoy Florida!! I’m just north of you and I know we got some crazy thunderstorms last night. Hope you were spared.
