Well I had hoped to post more, I had other holiday items to write about, but here it is Christmas Eve and this is my first post in December.
Well to get it out of the way first, I managed to find it again this year:
I didn’t think I was going to find any Christmas Crunch this year, but on the last day of November when I wasn’t expecting it found the seasonal cereal in a Target just south of Seattle.
Also in the area of holiday breakfast, I found this cereal which I’m pretty sure is new this year:
Holiday Cookie Crisp was way more plentiful than Christmas Crunch, just about every grocery stay I’ve been to this season had boxes of it.
And to wash down my cereals, maybe I should have some:
While not overtly holiday themed, this is clearly a seasonal product. Cranberry flavor is firmly related to the holidays. I actually prefer this to regular sprite, the cranberry flavor is not over powering, just the right amount.
If you prefer something more “classic”, you can always have some:
These things were even more places than the cookie crisp, but that’s about what you would expect from Coca-Cola. I mean they practically invented the modern Santa Claus, and you would have a hard argument saying any other company has marketed Christmas over the years as well as good old Coke.
Well that’s it for Christmas 2014, until next year…
